Boaters will find quiet coves and broad reaches of wonderful water on Mille Lacs. There are marinas and resorts for private boat launching, servicing and protection as well as several public boat accesses around the lake. The lure of sailing continues to grow on Mille Lacs. Sailing crafts are moored from Garrison all along the east and west shores to Wahkon Bay. Racing regattas and sail boarding events for the sports-minded sailors, as well as those just out to enjoy a good day's workout, have been sponsored by various resorts and organizations.
